Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Chairman of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates Saqr Ghobash on October 30.

Axar.az the Cabinet of Ministers told that during the meeting, it was noted that, thanks to the joint efforts of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, relations between the two countries have demonstrated high development dynamics.

It was noted that with the signing of the “Joint Declaration on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates” in September of this year, Azerbaijan-UAE relations have entered a new stage.

The importance of continuing effective cooperation and mutual support between the two countries within the framework of international organizations was emphasized.

Inter-parliamentary relations were also touched upon, and it was noted that mutual visits at the parliamentary level and friendship groups operating in the legislative bodies of both countries play an important role in strengthening comprehensive cooperation.

The meeting discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in economic and trade, investment, renewable energy, oil and gas, information technologies, artificial intelligence, and other areas.
