Russia accuses Kyiv of planning floods near Vovchansk

Kyiv wants to create a man-made disaster and flood settlements along the Seversky Donetsk River to slow down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing.

She noted that on October 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to destroy the dams of the Belgorod reservoir with American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems:

"They want to create a 'natural disaster' to prevent the advance of the Russian military."
