U.S. may launch Tomahawk strikes on Venezuela

Washington may launch Tomahawk cruise missiles into Venezuela to increase pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Axar.az reports that former US ambassador to Panama John Feeley said this.

"US forces near Venezuela may launch Tomahawk cruise missiles at targets in the South American country," he claimed.

However, retired US Navy Vice Admiral Joe Sestak said that US President Donald Trump will most likely refrain from ground operations in Venezuela with the participation of troops.

It should be noted that US military forces are conducting operations against drug cartels off the coast of Venezuela.
