5.4-Magnitude earthquake hits off Alaska coast

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Alaska, USA.

Axar.az informs that the US Geological Survey reported this.

According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 177 km north of the city of Anchorage, which is home to about 291,000 people. The epicenter was at a depth of 23 km.

There were no reports of casualties or damage. No tsunami threat was announced.
