Seven Azerbaijani citizens have been evacuated from Iran.

Axar.az informs, citing Report, the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens from the neighboring country took place amid U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran.

From 08:00 to 20:00 today, the safe transfer of seven citizens to Azerbaijan was completed.

Another group of citizens has been safely returned to Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that today, considering the deteriorating security situation in Iran, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and advised those currently in Iran to leave the country via Azerbaijan or Turkiye, depending on their location.
