Azerbaijan urges citizens to avoid Iran amid tensions

Due to the heightened security situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Azerbaijani citizens are urged to avoid traveling to the country. Those currently in Iran are advised, depending on their location, to leave via Azerbaijan or Turkiye.

Axar.az informs, citing Azerbaijani MFA, citizens are also asked to follow safety measures, avoid crowded areas, comply with instructions from local authorities, and keep up to date with official information sources.
