Hajiyev meets Iranian ambassador in Baku

A meeting was held between Azerbaijani presidential aide and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, and Iran's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou.

Axar.az informs that the Iranian diplomat shared details of the meeting on his social media account.

The ambassador said regional developments were a key focus of the talks.

“During the meeting with Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Foreign Policy Affairs, we discussed regional developments and reached an understanding on advancing several issues currently on the agenda of bilateral relations,” he said.
