Trade can become one of the most effective tools for strengthening mutual trust between Armenia and Turkiye.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that this was stated in a joint statement by the Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs of Armenia and the Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It was noted that bilateral meetings between business representatives held in Yerevan on September 3–4 were an important step toward normalizing relations between the two countries and developing economic cooperation.

During the meetings, entrepreneurs discussed opportunities for mutual trade and investment. According to the parties, an important condition for the sustainable development of this process is the opening of border crossing points and the establishment of regular trade routes.
