Russia says three-way talks with Ukraine, US could resume

Russia does not rule out the possibility of resuming trilateral negotiations with Washington and Kyiv on the Ukraine war, Kremlin said Monday.

Axar.az informs that Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stressed that “it is premature to discuss the venue and exact dates for now.”

“As for resuming the trilateral format, you heard the statements from Kyiv yesterday. Mr. [Jared] Kushner made such statements. We also do not rule out resuming this trilateral format,” Peskov said.

The latest round of trilateral consultations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine was held behind closed doors on February 17–18 at the InterContinental Hotel in Geneva, which has traditionally hosted important international discussions. The talks were held in both bilateral and trilateral formats.
