Azerbaijan’s PM meets with Palestinian counterpart

On July 16, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Mohammad Mustafa, who is on an official visit to the country.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, the sides hailed the successful development of Azerbaijan–Palestine relations based on friendship and mutual respect, emphasizing the importance of effective cooperation and mutual support within international and regional organizations.

Ali Asadov reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s support for the resolution of the Palestinian issue in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, including the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Mohammad Mustafa expressed his gratitude for Azerbaijan’s consistent political support for the Palestinian state and people, as well as for its humanitarian assistance and initiatives in the fields of education and other areas.

The parties also discussed prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine across various sectors.
