Azerbaijan's ambassador to Italy has been recalled from his post.
Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree.
Under the decree, Rashad Aslanov has been recalled from his positions as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy, Malta, and San Marino, as well as Permanent Representative to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
In a separate decree, President Aliyev appointed Rashad Aslanov as Azerbaijan's new ambassador to Turkiye.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan's former ambassador to Turkiye, Rashad Mammadov, has been appointed ambassador to Uzbekistan.
