Azerbaijan reshuffles diplomatic appointments

Kamil Khasiyev has been recalled from his post as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Serbia, as well as Montenegro and North Macedonia.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree.

Under a separate presidential decree, Khasiyev has been appointed Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria.

President Ilham Aliyev also signed a decree recalling Rovshan Sadigbeyli from his positions as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria and Slovenia, as well as Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).

Guided by Article 109, Paragraph 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

Rovshan Nusrat oglu Sadigbeyli shall be recalled from his posts as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Austria and, concurrently, the Republic of Slovenia, and as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office at Vienna, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.

President Ilham Aliyev also signed a decree recalling Galib Israfilov from his post as Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations.

Guided by Article 109, Paragraph 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

Galib Malik oglu Israfilov shall be recalled from his post as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations.

In another decree, President Aliyev appointed Rovshan Sadigbeyli as Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations.

Guided by Article 109, Paragraph 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

Rovshan Nusrat oglu Sadigbeyli is appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations.

President Ilham Aliyev also signed a decree recalling Tahir Taghizade from his post as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary.

Guided by Article 109, Paragraph 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

Tahir Tofiq oglu Taghizade shall be recalled from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary.

In a separate decree, President Aliyev appointed Esmira Jafarova as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary.

Guided by Article 109, Paragraph 15 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

Esmira Firudin gizi Jafarova is appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary.
