The relation of Yerevan and Moscow deteriorates

Certain treaties signed between Armenia and the European Union will undermine relations between Armenia and the Russian Federation.

A member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, political scientist Sergey Markov said these words while speaking to Axar.az about the possible consequences of the agreement between the EU and Armenia. He noted that the main goal of this agreement is to get rid of Russia's influence in Armenia:

"However, this agreement differs from the agreement signed with Ukraine. There was a free trade system, and there is no agreement with Armenia.

The EU considers that the establishment of the Armenian economy, its regulation and the rules of its operation should be directly regulated by the Council of Europe. The European Union wants to achieve its goals by creating a hostile image of Russia in the post-Soviet countries. Therefore, the events will worsen the relations between Yerevan and Moscow.

Then there will be a green light for relations between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation. Official Baku will appreciate the favourable conditions for the development of relations with Moscow. "
