Peskov: Very complicated processes underway in Armenia

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on the domestic political developments in Armenia, expressing hope that the ongoing processes would take place in strict accordance with the law and that the rights of all participants would be respected.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Peskov made the remarks in response to a question at a briefing.

“I would not like to comment on the domestic political events in Armenia at this time. Very complicated processes are underway there. We can only express hope that everything that is happening will be carried out in strict accordance with the law and that the rights of all participants in the political process in the republic will be respected,” he said.

It should be noted that on August 25, former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and his son Sedrak were detained.
