Lavrov comments on Tonoyan's statement

"Perhaps such statements do not assist the work on the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict", said the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in response to a question on the Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan's statement “the Nagorno-Kharabakh issue has been resolved” at a joint press conference on the results of his meeting with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger.

Axar.az reports, the Minister noted that emotional statements from both sides do not assist the work: "The co-chairs' continuous efforts are needed to bring their positions closer and to get a compromise".
