Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Wendy Morton, State Secretary for the European Neighborhood and the Americas.

Axar.az. reports that the sides exchanged views on the implementation of the trilateral statement, the Foreign Ministry's press service told.

Wendy Morton expressed satisfaction with the handing over of 15 detained Armenians to the other side in exchange for the submission of mine maps by Armenia to the Aghdam region of Armenia on June 12.

The Minister praised the step in terms of reducing tensions between the parties and building trust. Morton also expressed his condolences and condolences to the Azerbaijani journalists and civilians who lost their lives in the recent mine explosion.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the United Kingdom for its support of the demining process in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan through the United Nations Development Program and its cooperation with ANAMA in this regard.
