The meeting of the heads of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia scheduled for June 12 in Washington has been postponed.

Axar.az reports that Ani Badalyan, press secretary of the Armenian MFA, released information about this.

"We inform you that at the request of the Azerbaijani side, the next round of discussions planned to be held in Washington next week is postponed.

Additional information will be provided to the public about the new dates of the meeting," the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on his social network account.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has not issued a statement on the issue yet.
