The so-called "Artsakh Republic" in Khankendi was officially abolished.

Axar.az reports that the "president" of the "Republic of Artsakh" Samvel Shahramanyan signed a "decree".

The "decree" states:

1. By January 1, 2024, all state institutions and organizations subordinate to the "Republic of Artsakh" should be abolished and the existence of the "Republic of Artsakh" should be terminated;

2. The Armenian population of Karabakh, including the population outside the "republic", should familiarize themselves with the reintegration conditions presented by the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to make an independent and individual decision about the possibility of staying (returning) to Karabakh in the future after this "decree" comes into force.

This "decree" comes into force immediately after its publication.
