On April 16, the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, called the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and asked for the support of the friendly people of Azerbaijan, informing him about the pressures that Serbia has suffered in recent times.

Axar.az reports that the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan released this information.

President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan and Serbia have always supported each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty and emphasized that this position will be continued from now on. In this regard, the successful cooperation of the two countries within the framework of international organizations was noted.

The head of state invited the President of Serbia to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change to be held in Baku.

President Aleksandar Vucic gladly accepted the invitation.

During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed that the relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia are of a strategic partnership nature, and the importance of high-level mutual visits in the development of relations between our countries was stated.
