On the occasion of the national holiday of our friend Georgia - Independence Day, I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and to all your people on my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people.

The relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia have been based on friendly neighborliness and mutual understanding of our nations for centuries. The solid determination and aspirations of our friendly peoples underlie this. The further development of our interstate relations today, the successful advancement and enrichment of our partnership based on mutual trust and support, are a source of satisfaction.
