Russian President Vladimir Putin will agree to a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky only after Kyiv surrenders.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergey Kislyatsa.

According to him, during the recent talks of the Russian delegation in Istanbul, the following condition was put forward for the meeting between Putin and Zelensky:

"Putin's mandate is to force surrender. Their logic is the opposite of ours."
