Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made several statements during a press conference on August 31. According to him, Samvel Shahramanyan is guilty of many things, but it was not Shahramanyan who surrendered Karabakh, but rather Pashinyan himself on October 6, 2022, in Prague. The so-called entity (referred to with a fabricated name in the text - ed.) was recognized as part of Azerbaijani territory and dissolved.

Axar.az reports that these views were expressed by Armenian revanchist political analyst Benyamin Matevosyan.

"Pashinyan's formula of 'not seeking winners or losers in the delimitation process' is a brazen repeat of his statement from the parliamentary tribune on September 27, 2020, 'no matter how the war ends, we must fight and not consider ourselves defeated.' Pashinyan did not address the U.S. State Department representative O'Brien's statement about the need for communication through the Republic of Armenia for Central Asian countries to access world markets bypassing the Russian Federation and China. For Pashinyan, the scenario of Armenia becoming a 'logistical bridge' against Beijing, Moscow, and Tehran is acceptable, but he considers compliance with the provisions of the November 9 document unacceptable.

Another demand of Azerbaijan is being fulfilled: Pashinyan is ready to delegate customs control functions to another party. This means that Azerbaijanis on Armenian territory will not interact with Armenians but, for example, with 'Frontex' staff. According to Nikol's logic, Russia 'placed a demographic time bomb under Armenia.' As they say: the cat abandoned her kittens, and it's Putin's fault. Pashinyan is preparing a new capitulation of the Republic of Armenia, which will manifest itself in the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group. All of this will allow Baku to focus on implementing the 'Western Azerbaijan' political project," Matevosyan wrote.
