President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has expressed condolences to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev over the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) aircraft near Aktau city in Kazakhstan.

His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Dear Ilham Heydarovich,

It is with a sense of deep sorrow and sympathy that I received the tragic news of the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger aircraft near the airport in the city of Aktau, Republic of Kazakhstan, resulting in a significant loss of life.

We express our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. We wish all those injured a swift recovery.
