The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, met with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by the press service of the Georgian Government Administration.

Ali Asadov congratulated his Georgian counterpart on the ruling party’s victory in the October 26 parliamentary elections and his reappointment as Prime Minister, emphasizing that the election results once again reflected the will of the Georgian people.

The parties also discussed key aspects of the Georgia-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and issues to be addressed at the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan is developing positively in various fields, and the importance of peace and stability in the region was emphasized.

The Prime Minister of Georgia expressed his country’s readiness to support trilateral dialogue and the development of regional cooperation.
