Azerbaijani PM meets Iranian President in Tehran

Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during his working visit to Tehran.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Ali Asadov conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Masoud Pezeshkian.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the development of Azerbaijan-Iran relations based on the principles of friendship and good neighborliness, as well as enriching mutually beneficial cooperation with new content.

Issues related to the implementation of transport, energy, and oil-gas projects between Azerbaijan and Iran were reviewed.

The importance of the 3rd Caspian Economic Forum was emphasized, and it was reiterated that Azerbaijan views the Caspian Sea as a sea of peace, friendship, and cooperation.

Additionally, taking into account the new realities in the region, current issues were discussed.
