The situation is rapidly changing. After a slight improvement in relations between Russia and the United States, they are now heading toward worsening again.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russian political scientist Sergey Markov.
"From the events that have recently occurred in Moscow, the following conclusions can be drawn:
- Trump has threatened Russia with new sanctions.
- Trump has agreed with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom to jointly apply pressure on Russia.
- Trump rejects the idea that Putin is not legitimate to sign a peace agreement with Zelensky.
- The United States has failed to connect "Rosselkhozbank" to SWIFT, which means they cannot fulfill their obligations to initiate a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
- Trump is very close to Europe's stance on the Ukraine crisis, and Europe is the enemy of peace in Ukraine.
The conclusion drawn in Russia is that either Trump does not have enough power, or he lacks the will to move towards real peace. This is not working for Trump. Therefore, we must prepare not for peace, but for the expansion of hybrid warfare with the West," he said.
