Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, met with Mehdi Sanai, Political Advisor to the President of Iran.

Axar.az reports that Hikmet Hajiyev shared this information on X.

"During the meeting, we held extensive discussions on bilateral political relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, in accordance with the instructions set by the heads of state of the two countries. We also discussed international and regional issues of mutual interest, as a follow-up to the talks held during my visit to Iran in February 2025," the post reads.
