Azerbaijani citizens residing in South Korea have been warned due to the ongoing domestic political situation in the country.

Axar.az reports the Azerbaijani Embassy in South Korea issued a statement referring to the Seoul City Hall.

“Due to the internal political situation in the Republic of Korea, mass gatherings are expected in Seoul on April 3, 4, and 5, leading to significant traffic congestion and crowds in certain areas. Considering these circumstances, Azerbaijani citizens currently in Korea are advised to exercise caution and avoid areas where mass events are being held,” the statement reads.

Notably, South Korea’s Constitutional Court is set to deliver its final ruling on April 4 regarding the impeachment case of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Mass protests are expected across the country from April 3 to 5 in response to the issue.
