4.3-magnitude quake hits off Kamchatka coast

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the waters of Kronotsky Bay off the eastern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula on the night of April 2.

Axar.az reports the epicenter of the seismic event was located 102 km northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 64 km.

Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the earthquake was not felt in settlements across Kamchatka. No tsunami threat has been declared.
