Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that he has not met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin since 2021 but is aware of at least two world leaders who maintain secret contact with him.
Axar.az reports that Vučić made this statement in an interview with blogger Mario Nawfal.
When asked whether these individuals were Viktor Orbán and Robert Fico, who met with Putin in 2024, Vučić replied, "No."
According to Vučić, he has not seen Putin for three and a half years and will meet him for the first time during the May 9 event in Moscow, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Notably, while Serbia has condemned Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, it has not joined sanctions against Russia.
