Why did Armenia take this position? Perhaps not everything is in order here—we cannot dismiss it. If something happens, one side alone cannot be at fault.

Axar.az reports that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made these remarks at the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit held in Minsk, commenting on Armenia’s absence from the delegation.

Lukashenko also highlighted setbacks in achieving the goals of the EAEU. He noted that 18 key points of the union’s strategy remain unfulfilled as of 2025:

“Nevertheless, there is little desire to address these complex issues, but we must force ourselves to do so. If we remain stagnant, others will catch up, trample us, and move ahead. The union must be as attractive as possible.”
