Eurasian Economic Council meets in Minsk

A restricted-format meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council has begun at the Independence Palace in Minsk.

Axar.az reports that the event is attended by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan joined the meeting via video link.

Following the restricted-format meeting, a broader-format session is expected to take place. Representatives from observer states such as Cuba and Uzbekistan, as well as guest countries including Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), are also expected to participate.
