We are ready to build a strategic partnership with the United States on a concrete roadmap that will reflect the benefits for both countries.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze while presenting his annual report to parliament.

He noted that relations with the United States are an important priority for us:

“As you know, we have made a public statement on this issue, we are ready to restore strategic partnership with the United States. We are waiting for appropriate steps. Very important steps have been taken in the direction of embassies, including the appointment of a Georgian ambassador to the United States. We believe that the recent changes will contribute to the restoration of relations and the restoration of strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States.”
