President Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to our country, Mujtaba Demirchilu, on June 27.

Axar.az reports that the head of state, noting that Azerbaijan was one of the first countries to express its position regarding the conflict between Iran and Israel, emphasized its condemnation of this tension and once again expressed his condolences for the Iranian citizens who died during the conflict.

Stating that some circles and media representatives are spreading information based on rumors and lies in order to harm Azerbaijani-Iranian relations regarding this tension between Iran and Israel, President Ilham Aliyev said that all this is complete nonsense.
