Today, on June 27, Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan, will depart for Turkiye accompanied by one of his advisors.

Axar.az reports that the purpose of the visit is to participate in the “Global Forum on Transport Connectivity,” which brings together transport sector leaders from over 30 countries.

The Hraparak publication wrote that prior to traveling to Turkiye, Prime Minister Pashinyan held consultations with David Khudatyan and his deputy Armen Simonyan. They discussed several issues: whether it is de jure possible to export goods from Armenia to Turkiye and import goods from Turkiye to Armenia, whether goods can be transported via transit from Turkiye, and whether de jure transit through Armenia from Turkiye is possible.

“It is not excluded that the real purpose of the visit to Turkiye is to steer these matters toward a constructive path and establish connections,” the publication noted.
