Washington is considering a plan to allocate about $30 billion in investments to Tehran for the development of its peaceful nuclear program, provided that Iran abandons the idea of uranium enrichment.
Axar.az informs that CNN reported this, citing sources in the American administration.
It was reported that such an idea was discussed by the US and key players in the Middle East several weeks ago, as well as this week.
In particular, one of the proposals envisages allocating $20-30 billion in investments to Iran's nuclear program, and the funds will come not from the US, but from Arab countries.
It is noted that the investment issue was discussed in several rounds of Iranian-American negotiations. In addition, this topic was raised during a secret meeting of US President's representative Steve Witkoff with representatives of the Gulf countries.
