Talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan on normalizing relations have not reached a deadlock, and dialogue remains ongoing, according to Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan during a briefing.

“I don’t believe the process has reached an impasse, as such a judgment would require a complete halt in discussions, and talks are indeed continuing.”

He also expressed hope that representatives of the two countries would meet soon to resume discussions on a formal peace agreement.
