Lebanese law enforcement authorities have conducted a raid on the residence of former Lebanese-Armenian minister George Puchikian, amid a widening corruption probe.

Axar.az reports that simultaneous searches were carried out at the homes of several senior officials from the Ministry of Industry and Architecture, which Puchikian previously oversaw. Investigators are also closely scrutinizing Levon Kyurimian, the former minister’s chief of staff.

Although summoned for questioning, Puchikian failed to appear, citing “health complications.” His absence has raised further questions amid growing speculation over potential misconduct during his tenure.
