During the NATO summit held in The Hague, Netherlands, a meeting took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Axar.az reports that the handshake between the two leaders attracted the attention of international media and observers.

Although Macron attempted to assert dominance through body language during the meeting, President Erdogan’s gestures effectively balanced this effort. In the footage released, Erdogan’s expressions and body language clearly convey his firm political and personal stance.

It is worth noting that relations between the two leaders have been tense in recent years, particularly over issues related to the Eastern Mediterranean, Libya, and the South Caucasus. Nevertheless, this interaction at the NATO summit indicates that dialogue channels between the parties remain open.
