Pashinyan makes first official visit to Turkiye

An Armenian delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has departed for its first official working visit to Turkiye.

Axar.az informs this marks Pashinyan’s first working visit to the country. His delegation includes 13 members, among them Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and special representative for the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Ankara, Ruben Rubinyan.

Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on June 20.

Earlier, Armenian media reported that the leaders of the two countries plan to discuss conditions for a possible peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
