The West will once again attempt to destabilize Georgia during the local elections scheduled for this fall.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.

“We are already seeing the first signs of external attempts to destabilize the country. Some of Brussels’ actions suggest that there will be efforts from abroad to disrupt stability. As we saw in the last elections—which was later confirmed to be interference—I believe there will again be attempts to use similar letters and resolutions,” he said.
