The Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about the eruption of a mud volcano in the direction of Sangachal settlement, Garadagh district, Baku city, and inspected the area by helicopter of the Ministry's Aviation Unit.

The second phase of the eruption began at 08:39 local time and lasted for 12 minutes until 08:51.

The third phase of the eruption began at 09:02 local time and lasted for 4 minutes until 09:06.

The depth of the eruption was 4 kilometers, and the total energy released was 2.19*10^7 joules (energy volume).

It should be noted that the volcanic eruption was recorded by seismic stations installed around the mud volcanoes of the RASC under ANAS.
