The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, has ordered a halt to strikes on Israeli territory, as well as attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, as long as Israel complies with the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Axar.az reports, citing a source in the movement who told TASS.
"Since the active phase of the war in Gaza has ended, all operations against Israel and its associated merchant ships are suspended. The Houthi leader instructed to monitor Israel's compliance with the terms of the agreement. Yemen's further steps in support of the Palestinians will depend on this," he said.
It should be noted that the ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect on October 10.
