A group of military personnel of the Azerbaijani Army who will participate in the "Birlik - 2025" joint regional exercise to be held in the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan has left for this country.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The joint regional exercise, which will involve commando and UAV personnel from the republics of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, aims to further increase the professionalism of the military personnel of the participating countries in anti-terrorist operations, maintain sustainable peace in the region, and exchange mutual experience.

The "Birlik - 2025" joint regional exercise will last until October 21.
