The Nobel Peace Prize laureate (Maria Corina Machado – ed.) called me and said she dedicated the prize to me.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump said these words in a statement to reporters at the White House.

“I didn’t tell her to give it to me (the prize – ed.). But I think she could have,” the US president added, causing laughter.

It should be noted that Machado wrote that her fight for freedom and democracy depends on Trump and other key allies.

“I dedicate this prize to President Trump for his steadfast support for the suffering people of Venezuela and our cause!” she said.

It should be noted that Venezuelan democracy activist Maria Corina Machado was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize. Donald Trump was also among the nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize.
