The rector of the National Defense University, Major General Gunduz Abdulov, and the delegation he led, who are on a visit to Italy, visited the Center for Advanced Defense Studies.

First, the director of the center, Colonel General Stefano Mannino, welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation and expressed his great pleasure in receiving them in his country. He particularly noted that the cooperation formed between the two countries in the field of military education is based on a reliable partnership and mutual trust.

Major General Gunduz Abdulov, thanking for the hospitable attitude, emphasized that the meetings and discussions held will create new opportunities for the cooperation formed between the two countries in the field of military education. He noted that the steps taken towards cooperation will contribute to the exchange of experience and are important for future joint activities.

Then, the Azerbaijani delegation was given a comprehensive presentation on the history of the establishment of the Italian Center for Advanced Defense Studies, its educational model, as well as the strategic goals and main areas of activity facing the institution. Questions on the points of interest of the members of the delegation were answered in detail.

At the end of the meeting, Major General Gunduz Abdulov recorded his sincere thoughts in the memorial book.
