Azerbaijan and Iran discuss ICT cooperation

The establishment of a working group on strengthening cooperation in the ICT field between Azerbaijan and Iran was discussed.

Axar.az reports that Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Sattar Hashemi, who is visiting our country to participate in the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25).

The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in the ICT field between the two countries. An exchange of views was held on the establishment of a working group on strengthening the partnership and expanding the regulatory legal framework.

The meeting agreed to continue the successful cooperation achieved recently between the two countries in the ICT field, especially in frequency coordination.
