In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather on December 17 is expected to be partly cloudy, occasionally cloudy, and mostly dry.

Axar.az reports according to the National Hydrometeorology Service, during the night of December 16–17, there may be light drizzle in some areas. A north-east wind will change to a south-east wind in the evening.

Temperatures are expected to range from 3–6°C at night to 7–10°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 771 mmHg to 775 mmHg, and relative humidity will be 65–75%.

In other regions of Azerbaijan, occasional precipitation is expected, with snow in mountainous areas. Some eastern regions may experience heavy rainfall. Precipitation will gradually stop during the day, with a mild east wind blowing.

Temperatures in the regions will range from 1°C below zero to 4°C above zero at night and 7–10°C during the day. In the mountains, nighttime temperatures will be -3 to -8°C, and in higher mountainous areas, -10 to -14°C, while daytime temperatures will be 0–5°C below zero.

There is a possibility of icy roads in some mountainous areas during the night and morning.
