In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent precipitation is expected on February 28.

Axar.az reports according to the National Hydrometeorology Service, some areas may experience heavier precipitation in the first half of the day, possibly turning into sleet.

A occasionally strong northwest wind will blow. Temperatures will range from 1–5°C during the night and day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 762 mmHg to 766 mmHg, with relative humidity at 80–90%.

In other regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation and snowfall are expected, with some areas possibly experiencing heavy snow. Fog is likely in some places at night and in the morning. An east wind will occasionally strengthen in some areas.

Temperatures will range from 0–4°C at night and 4–7°C during the day, while in the mountains it will be –5 to –10°C at night and –10 to –15°C in higher elevations, with daytime temperatures of 0–5°C below freezing.

Some mountainous and foothill roads may be icy at night and in the morning.
