Cloudy skies with occasional overcast conditions are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on March 1, with mainly dry weather.

Axar.az reports according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, light precipitation is possible in some areas during the night and evening.

A moderate northwesterly wind will occasionally strengthen. Air temperatures will range from 0–2°C at night to 3–5°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 766 to 769 mm of mercury, and relative humidity will be 70–80%.

In other regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation and snowfall are expected in some areas, which may be heavy in places. Fog is forecast in certain locations during the night and morning. A moderate easterly wind will blow.

Temperatures will range from 0–4°C at night to 4–7°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will drop to 5–10°C below zero at night, and 10–15°C below zero in high mountainous regions, while daytime temperatures will range from 0–5°C below zero.

Icy conditions are likely on roads in some mountainous and foothill districts during the night and morning.
